rf transmitter/receiver system

I need help with a project. I have to design a rf receiver/transmitter system. The receiver has to work with 32 different transmitters. The receiver has to output an 8 bit data count of how many transmitters pressed a button within a specific time period. I have several designs using receiver with a microcontroller and a microchip transmitter. Now I am stuck and do not know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Your problem is not fully clear, are you not able to count or is it difficult for you to receive all the transmission, is the problem on the RF side or with the logic needed in microcontroller
