Design Filter?
Jun 13th, 2004, 12:00am

I have been asked to design a band pass filter Front end transmitter for RFID application at 868 MHz using 0.5 micron CMOS technology.

The thing is at that frequency i might have large  value Q factor. I think it is approximetaly at 10000.

Im quite confused as my supervisor gave this topic and i realized that at that frequency it is difficult to design a bulit in chip with capacitor and inductor. I do hope that u can help me and at least give me
guidance.

My biodata:
Im now at a training center learning semiconductor chip design. Im still early in this design chip but im moving fast.

Hello,

You can use passive or active RC network for your design. There are numerous topology by which you can replace the inuctor.(BTW that is the main reason why they have been developed)

Hope this helps..
