labelling figures in Latex
Dec 10th, 2004, 7:25pm

In Latex, to label my figures and tables, I go like:

\begin{figure}
\includegraphics{file.eps}
\caption{nice pic}
\label{xyz}
\end{figure}

Then to reference it, I say:

Figure \ref{xyz} is a nice pic.

Now, this WORKS - I get the correct label number. BUT, when I compile it and pdf it and print it out, there are those TAGS that print out too. (in this case, next to the figure and next to \ref{}, there is a "xyz" with a box around it that's also printed out in the pdf file.

Anyone experiencing this? How can I get around this? Thanks!

I'm using Windows Latex (winedt).

It's probably just me being a little pedantic, but what has this question to do with RF Design? Surely there are better places to ask this kind of question?

Regards,

Andrew.

hehe...  it's a RF report written via Latex.

I'm surprised nobody ever encountered this problem ... nobody uses windows latex? (winedt)
