In Latex, to label my figures and tables, I go like:
\begin{figure} \includegraphics{file.eps} \caption{nice pic} \label{xyz} \end{figure}
Then to reference it, I say:
Figure \ref{xyz} is a nice pic.
Now, this WORKS - I get the correct label number. BUT, when I compile it and pdf it and print it out, there are those TAGS that print out too. (in this case, next to the figure and next to \ref{}, there is a "xyz" with a box around it that's also printed out in the pdf file.
Anyone experiencing this? How can I get around this? Thanks!
I'm using Windows Latex (winedt).
