Phase noise inc 1/f noise affects using tdnoise in
Feb 15th, 2005, 2:23pm

Hello,

I successfully Ran tdnoise for my oscillator. I also ran standard pnoise. The fc corner is around 200Hz.

From the tdnoise I integrated the noise from 1kHz to 2MHz since my fo=4MHz.

This oscillator is for audio application. Therefore, I would like to know if the integrated noise using the band would be okay.

Secondly, Can I now divide the number I get from above by 2*pi*fo or should I divide this by trise of the ring oscillator output node from one of the stages.

Does this calculation include fliker noise affects if I have include flicker noise in the models.

For long term jitter can I now multiply this number by sqrt(fo*TIE).

Thanks
