temperature & mismatch
Apr 05th, 2005, 10:48pm

Hi all
I was wondering if anybody knows any kind of relationship between temperature and mismatch in identically laid out MOSFET's,  both at same temperature over the range of room to 125 Celsius.

Thanks
Kayathi

in mosfets, the gm of the transistor will go down with temperature due to carrier mobility decrease. The vgst(Vgs-Vt) or overdrive voltage is inversely related to gm. High Vgst will give better transistor drain current matching. So as temperature changes, the Vgst will change and the matching of the drain current in the devices will change.
