Hi,
I am designing a LA(limiting amplifier) as my subject. I hope to add a RMS power detector to monitor the input level.  I know we can implement it with piece-linear technique using cascaded gain stages.

But I hope to implement a RMS power detctor which can directly measure the input signal with bipolar and cmos process.

Can anyone have good ideas?
