pnoise timedomain simulates extra time point
Aug 31st, 2005, 7:38pm

Hello-
I'm trying to simulate the noise performance of a CMOS track-and-hold with spectreRF.  I set noisetype=timedomain, numberofpoints=1, and noisetimepoints=[5.34e-9].  When I run the simulation it simulates an extra time point at t=0 (on the pss time axis), doubling the simulation time.  Is there any way to make the simulator not do the t=0 time point?
Thanks,
-Dan

Dan,

Set numberofpoints to 0. numberofpoints is used to distribute timepoints over the period, in addition to any specified in noisetimepoints. If you don't want any distributed timepoints, set it to 0.

Regards,

Andrew.
