Sep 01st, 2005, 5:36pm

Hi all,

Should i use DSB NF for the direct conversion receiver?  I am doing simulation in SpectreRF and see different option to plot NF, one call NFieee, could any one tell what is it?

Thank you

I am not yet familiar with the IEEE option but for direct conversion receivers I use the DSB option because the signal has power on both sides of the carrier.

See http://www.cadence.com/whitepapers/pspapn1.pdf (this is also an appendix of the SpectreRF User Guide).
