Some question on Cadence
Sep 15th, 2005, 8:21pm

Hi,

I am a new user of Cadence. I am going to make a chip using AMS 0.35um technology. I have some questions about the enviroment.

1) How can I display transistor instrict parameter (like gm, ro) when I in the schematic compresor?

2) When I am using the Analog enviroment to preform DC analysis. I use the calculator to print some DC voltage out. But it only contain 3 significant figure, how to increase the number of significant figure.

The quesitons may be silly...but I found the documents so long....

Thank You

GaRY

Hi Gary,

ADE = Analog Design Environment
1: ADE~>Results~>Annotate~>DC Operating Points
or
ADE~>Results~>Print~>DC Operating Points, select devices afterwards

2. If you use the ADE-Ouputs (lower right) the space is limited, you migth use
Calculator~>Print (no autoupdate in this case)
ADE~>Results~>Annotate~>DC Node Voltages

good luck, next time ask your supervisor.
