Simulationg a trim procedure using ocean
Jan 25th, 2006, 7:35am

Dear all,

I spent part of the day to write an ocean script for verifying the impact of trimming. It does the following:
1. it does a simulation at nominal operating conditions for a random realization of the circuit's device parameters
2. it computes a trimmung value
3. it repeats the above simulation for the *same* random realization of the circuit's device parameters to check whether the trimming was sucessful
4. it repeats the simulation for different operating condition, again for  the *same* random realization of the circuit's device parameters

The code could surely be optimized ... The example is an amplifier (which later will be part of a trimmed signal path)
Regards, achim
