Substrate model
Mar 03rd, 2006, 2:03pm

Hi

Is there any transmission line model or coplanar waveguide model in cadence?  I want to include this components in my simulation for the RF on PCB.  Dose anyone know how to write a simple substrate model for spectre?

Thank you in advance

Spectre provides the tline and mtline. For more information, try "spectre -h tline" and "spectre -h mtline".
For a simple substrate model, you might want to take a look at www.designers-guide.org/Modeling/substrate-coupling.pdf.
