various jitters, relationship formulae
Mar 22nd, 2006, 10:48pm

Hi...

I am working on PLL. What are the relationships between the cycle to cycle jitter and the long term  accumulated jitter(absolute jitter )  . If i have one jitter how can i get the other.

Thanx in advance

Bye

Hi,

there is an interesting paper on the subject:
Spectral Analysis of Time-Domain Phase Jitter Measurements
U.-K. Moon, K. Mayaram and J. T. Stonick
IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS—II
VOL. 49, NO. 5, MAY 2002 321

which you can download here:
