PSS/PAC for autonomous circuits
Apr 20th, 2006, 2:42pm

Hi All,

I have a concern about PSS and PAC for autonomous circuits. I have a mixer merged with a VCO for current re-use. I am running PSS and PAC to double check the conversion gain. Actually, PAC gives me a CG that is 9dBV (9 is famous Wink) higher than transient and fft. Furthermore, if I break the local feedback in the VCO and I apply a large tone to run a tone-driven PSS/PAC, the results agree with transient.
Am I missing something? Have anyone else faced the same situation?

Thank you in advance,

Tino
