Exciting start-up business opportunity calls for senior RF
IC design talent(s) to lead product and technology development.
Initial products are in the RF tuner/transmitter areas. If you
have the right experiences, this could be a path to the CTO
position. This is an entrepreneurial oppotunity with great
business potential and rewards.

Responsibilities include:

1. RF tuner chip architecture;
2. Design and layout of high-performance, high-yield analog/mixed
signal circuits such as LNA's, mixers, PLL (integer/fractional-N), VCO's,
VGA's, PA's, I/Q modulators/demodulators, voltage regulators, filters,
and data converters.
3. Help develop product test plans.

Qualifications:

1. Solid industry experience in developing RF IC products,
especially in the RF tuner area;
2. Experience and familiarity with various analog & digital
TV & radio broadcast standards (terrestrial, cable,
satellite, etc.)
3. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including
experience in system-level debugging.

Highly desirable:

1. Knowledge and experience in low power RF design techniques
and/or yield enhancing techniques;
2. Knowledge and experience in DSP algorithms from a system
trade-off perspective;
3. Willingness for occasional, short-duration business travels
to Asia;
4. Leadership skills.
