PM and AM phase noise in GG

Does anyone have a short answer for how Golden Gate decomposes noise into PM and AM components? Is there a paper available?

Thanks for the paper. That is what I am interested in but I'm also still  hoping for a short answer. Short answers help me wade through such papers.
