PLL simulation by PSS/PAC?
Dec 19th, 2006, 7:31pm

Hi,
Is it possible to simulate a PLL by the PSS+PAC? Because I want to simulate the VCO spur due to PFD input undesired tone folding to VCO tuning line. In this case the PSS must converge first to a steady state, then perform the PAC to get the modulated sideband amplitude. But I'm confused with the PSS setting since it contains both signal source(the reference) and autonomous VCO. I tried to view the whole PLL as a driven circuit and run PSS, but it never converges. Could anybody help me?
