IIP3 for RF front end in 802.16a
Jan 06th, 2007, 4:33am

I need IIP3 of front-end for designing a 5 GHz Mixer in 802.16a. How I can calculate the value of the power of the input interferer, Pin?

I can't find it in IEEE std. only the Adjacent Channel Interference was in spec and there is nothing about Alternative one.

Has anyone designed RF blocks in 802.16a or 802.16?

Hi,
I don't know if this document http://www.eel.upc.edu/rfcs/Material/SystemLevel_Bluetooth.pdf could be useful for you but it's a demo for a bluetooth design. It calculates de IIP3 based in the adjacent channel interferences definition.
Also I suggest to look at the Wimax alliance forum, maybe they have technical docs for the design.

good luck.
