Hi,
I see many posts on this website where people edit their netlist by hand. I want to start using this level of control but it seems to me, that to make this process efficient, one should define their own directory structure that makes it convenient to access netlist files and results files without descending through 10 sub-directories. My question is: “What are some practical directory structure for netlists and results that have worked well for people” and “how are these paths defined? .cdsinit .cdsenv or .cshrc?
Here is an example of my problem: My current path to a given netlist is:
~/jazz/project1/work_libs/lehne/cds/simulation/design_XXX/spectre/schematic/netl ist
and my path to results is: ~/jazz/project1/work_libs/lehne/cds/simulation/design_XXX/spectre/schematic/psf
I would like to have something like:
~/Netlists/design_XXX/
and
~/Results/design_XXX/
Thanks, makelo
