Divider phase noise: sweep type option
Feb 06th, 2007, 3:11am

Dear all,

when simulation the phase noise of a divider using SpectreRF, what sweep type should I choose:
absolute or relative (and is this importance).
Further on, the subsequent frequeny range, is it important with regard to the phase noise calculation, in other words should it be specified from about DC uptil FCLK/2 or is this setting irrelevant with regard to the phase noise integration interval?

Thanks a lot!

Peter
