CSO/CTB distortion
Apr 30th, 2007, 12:23am

I am now doing some reserch with TV tuners. "CSO" and "CTB" are used to describe the extent of the distortion. but i cannot find the explicit definition of these two parameters in some classical books. I only know well "IIP3" and "IIP2" before.
are there some one familiar with the concept of CSO/CTB and  their ralationship with "IIP3" and "IIP2"?
recommending some related papers is also appreciated.
thanks a lot.

A search with Google netted several papers that describe CSO & CTB (composite second order and composite triple beat). Take a look at http://www.eetchina.com/ARTICLES/2006JUN/PDF/DTCOL_2006JUN26_RFR_TA_01.PDF.

I think you will find Matrix's application notes fairly useful for the definitions of CTB and CSO as well as some relationships with IP3.
