noise analysis in ADE
Jun 18th, 2007, 3:08am

Hi,
can anyone tell me how to do noise anlysis in ADE?

a. what type of voltage source should be at the input? i am giving a freq sweep of .01 to 1M Hz and on the noise summary form integrated freq over 10k to 1M.
b. if we go by the assumption that the ckt is noiseless and all noise is at the input
source specified, what does "%age contribution of components" mean?
c. incase my input referred noise is high (say 2mV) what approach should i employ for reducing the noise?
d. in my analysis i have specified input voltage as vsource with dc value of 1.2 and freq of 1M with ac amplitude of 50mV. supply voltages are dc. in the noise analysis form i am not able to select 'probe' option, instead i am using voltage option - but this doesnt give me a noise figure. how do i get that?
