Cadence - Frequency Response
Aug 07th, 2007, 10:20am

The intention is to simulate a frequency response of a mixed signal system.  Doing the usual ac sweep is not possible.

I have obtained a impulse response for my mixed signal block. This is a time domain representation.
I can perform a dft using the cadence calculator. How do i get a magnitude and phase response plot
from the latter?

I hope cadence could support this query?

Best Regards,
Mikey

Hallo,

I can understand from your question that the case you have includes an analog signal and a digital clock signal, (something like switched capacitor circuits). Then the suggestion would be the PSS and PAC simulations. There is already a guide for this tool under the following link
