Data size should not be a problem when simulating a Delta-Sigma Modulator with Spectre. However, if you are concerned about the data size, then you can try the following approaches to reduce data size.
1) Don't save all the voltages and currents points, save only the voltage that you need for the FFT calculation.
2) Use transient analysis options, strobedelay and strobeperiod, to only save data at the time points required for the FFT.
I often simulate Sigma-Delta Modulators with 16384 points and have never had an issue with the output data file size. I use option #1 so I can compare the results from multiple simulation runs.
