AMS Designer vs spectreVerilog
Jan 21st, 2008, 9:34pm

Hi all,

Which one is better for mixed signal simulation?

I have found spectreVerilog more user friendly,  but only problem is
that there has to be a clear partition between analog and digital blocks.

Also spectreVerilog seems to be faster than AMS Designer...
Is there any logical reason behind it or depends on the design?

Thanks,
Rajdeep

Design is fun, verification is a requirement.

having everything in 1 simulator is pretty nice.. and I've found most times I can get AMS to run faster that SpectreVerilog..
but I write the models in Verilog-AMS.. not just verilogA and Verilog.
