Monte Carlo Model Selection
Feb 26th, 2008, 1:09am

Hi all,

I plan to run a monte carlo analysis on a circuit for mismatch, and when I checked the model files, there seem to be two sections I can choose from: mc and stat. What exactly is the difference between these two models? Appreciate any help!

regards,
rajath

The stat section 'statisics block' specifies the statistical distribution,
process variation. It defines which parameter and how should be varied through
a Monte Carlo simulation.

The mc section then should include the transistor model with the parameters
to vary.

Best is to check yourself your model file.
