need bsim3v3.3 model card
Mar 31st, 2008, 10:15am

hi,
I am designing a cml buufer working at frequency around 10 gbps, till now I've done simulation with bsim3v3.1(0.18um) in spectre , now i want to use bsim3v3.2(0.18um) which is extended rf model for more accurate result.

Unfortunately i am unable to find model card for the same on mosis and bsim site also.

i would really be grateful if someone can provide me d model file.

thanks .

Hi akki,

You'd better ask the guy who have provided the process and model to you ever before, i.e., the foundry or MOSIS.

Get this from the PDK associated with the foundry that you are designing for. This will be very specific to the foundry.

Or refer the bsim manual and make your own changes..
Berkeley has a bsim manual website..

OR you could take your test die to  a service provider and have them re-extract the models in the newer format..
but if youre going to do that, why not go to bsim4?
