Wrong Phase Noise Results during Parametric Sweep
May 10th, 2008, 1:39pm

Folks,

When I sweep a parameter, like a voltage, for an oscillator, sometimes there will be a few bad phase noise point, where it is very high. Make a single-run, and the results back to normal. I suspect that fractional control code is a problem, but I digitize it using an ADC before sending it into the oscillator.

Any hints and comments are appreciated.
