cumulated PNoise of subcircuit components with SpectreRF
Jul 11th, 2008, 12:15am

Hello,

I have a big switched-cap amplifier circuit made up of several subcircuits (voltage regulator, bandgap, several op-amps, etc.) that is simulated with pss + pnoise in SpectreRF. I can plot the total output noise and the output noise caused by every single transistor, but I'd like to plot the output noise caused by a subcircuit (like a complete op-amp) to see, which components/subcircuits are the biggest noise contributors. Is this possible?

Thank you in advance,
Marcus
