I am looking for an infrared transmitter (200-500 THz) schematic. I need to be able to vary the output or easily vary the components.

Could you please be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do? Most IR systems "at frequency" only in the output device.

I want to generate and transmit a 200-500 THz signal a distance of ~30 feet. I've never done anything this high before so I'm looking for an existing schematic.
