What is the definition of the "Residual FM" noise ? And how it is measured ?

Use the signal source analyzer.
Residual FM is calculated from the phase noise trace. the equation is available on the part of “Confirming Integral Phase Noise, Jitter and Residual FM“ in the following on-line manual.
