can't plot terminal currents (dc analysis)  - no waveform supplied
Feb 25th, 2009, 9:47am

as the title says, when i try to plot terminal currents from the results of dc analysis, cadence says

ERROR:  /M0/D is not a kept output.

in spectre save options, the 'save', 'pwr', 'currents' are set to 'all' and 'userprobes' is set to 'yes'. the result is there in result browser, but i can not get it from ADE->results->direct plot->main form or dc. however i can plot the transient results from direct plot menu. i'm working in tsmc 180nm kit, but in ibm 130nm kit i don't have this problem. any ideas? this only happens for instances from the tsmc pdk library.

simulator version:

$ spectre -V
@(#)$CDS: spectre  version 6.1.1 06/17/2007 07:20 (usim440-24) $
$ spectre -W
sub-version  6.1.1.424
$ icfb -V
@(#)$CDS: icfb.exe version 5.1.0 06/20/2007 02:40 (cicsun11) $
$ icfb -W
sub-version 5.10.41_USR5.90.69

Could be that M0 is a subcircuit, and you need to try to plot M0/M/D (assuming M0 contains a MOS named "M" along with perhaps a diode).
