Simulating SPICE Netlist in OCEAN
Mar 23rd, 2009, 10:10am

Is it possible to simulate a SPICE netlist in OCEAN instead of using a SPECTRE netlist? I can do this successfully when running SPECTRE command line using "simulator lang=spice" before calling the netlist. Can this be done in OCEAN? I tried pointing design(...) to a SPICE netlist but get errors. Thanks.

This should be possible. When using design() to point at a netlist, the netlist has to be called "netlist", and you need to have files alongside it called "netlistHeader" and "netlistFooter" (which can be empty). Having done that, it should be possible to simulate using OCEAN.

Perhaps (after trying the above) you can show what errors you got?

Best Regards,

Andrew.
