Save waveform as a source in Spectre?
Mar 30th, 2009, 2:07am

Hi all,

Is a possible way to save output waveform and convert it to a source i.e. pwlf for Spectre??
Due to long simulation time for previous simulation, I would like to use the output waveform of the previous simulation and create as a source for subsequent simulation..

Thanks for the help..

Use ocnPrint() or table list ability in calculator.

Enter "ocnHelp 'ocnPrint" in CIW.

ocnPrint( [?output t_filename | p_port] [?precision x_precision]
[?numberNotation s_numberNotation] [?numSpaces x_numSpaces]
[?width x_width] [?from x_from] [?to x_to] [?step x_step] o_waveform1
[o_waveform2 ...] ) => t/nil

In addition, the results browser in IC613 also has a File->Export menu which can export "spectre" format - which is essentially a PWL input file.

Regards,

Andrew.
