Spice sub-circuit in AMS simulation
Apr 01st, 2009, 11:19am

Hello,

I have a spice sub circuit netlist which I normally simulate in Spectre by using spectre view and linking it to spice subcircuit using the model property. Now I am trying to set it up in an AMS (MMSIM62) test bench. The same method does not seem to work. AMS fails to elaborate that particular block. I have included the model path in hdl.var file but it does not make a difference. Can anyone provide some guidance?

Thanks in advance.

You've not really given enough details to work on - this should work. I don't know what version of AMS you're actually using (AMS is not in the MMSIM stream) - just in case it makes a difference...

So it's a little hard to be much help - you might want to give some details, particularly as to how it fails, but also detailing what you've done.

Regards,

Andrew.
