i understand velocity saturation in mosfet like the following
It linearizes  the I&V characteristics.So i guess its like feedback.Normally source degeneration mainly to linearize the characteristics,but now velocity saturation itself giving linear characteristics,of course still it depends on un,cox..But with respect to current technology its better from low voltage point of view as well as less distortion.
Please tell me whether it is correct or not.
