about pss simulaiton for VCO

Hi, I am trying to get the time domain steady state solution from the pss simulation for VCO. Is there any way that I can control the time points in the solution, say I want to get more time points than default solution. Thanks!

What EDA vendor's simulator do you mean as "pss" ?
There are many simulators which have analysis called as PSS.

If you mean PSS analysis of Cadence Spectre, set "maxstep" parameter for PSS statement.
Enter "spectre -h pss" in Unix command line, you can see many parameters for PSS.

Lily,

Can you explain why you need more time points? If you think that
you want to lower the PSS noise floor, then  consider tightening the
error preset. For example use the conservative error preset if you are
using the default error preset. If you have an issue with small signal
analysis, then it might be best to set maxacfreq appropriately.

                                                                    Best Regards,
