frequency divider question
May 23rd, 2009, 2:16pm

 Hi All
I designed a digital frequency divider, but it works for ideal square wave and consume 5mA at switch, the ring oscillator I designed can not drive the frequency divider at all. I also try to add buffer after ring oscillator to drive the frequency divider, it still do not work, can anyone give me some suggestions?
 Thank you so much

What is your divider architecture?
When you say it consumes 5ma @ switch, can you give more detail?
What is the load presented to your ring osc?
What frequency are you operating?
