noise_table question in the phase domain model of VCO
May 28th, 2009, 5:10pm

I want to use Ken's phase domain VCO model with noise_table function (as described in "Predicting the Phase Noise and Jitter of PLL-Based Frequency Synthesizers1").  My question is that how can I get the phase power density at each frequency? As the SpectreRF pnoise simulation results provide phase noise or output noise, can I directly use them or if not, is there any simple way I can get it? thanks!

I don't see the above document, but maybe you refer SΦ(f).
See the following.

"pnoise" give Lssb(f).
"pnoise jitter" give SΦ(f).
