I don't know what's your application. When I simulate Nyquist rate data converters, the rectangular window is often used because of coherent sampling. For sigma-delta data conveters, hanning, hamming, and blackman are often because the chaotic output of sigma-delta modulators results in spectrum leakage. Personally, hanning window is often used. But other windows are good enough, too. Just look at the frequency spectrum to make sure the leakage is minimized and not visible.
