BDA SIM Transient save-restart
Jan 21st, 2010, 9:08pm

Hi,
Spectre supports save-restart in transient analysis by saving states at specified times....
Does BDA AFS (or BDASIM ) support it ??
I am simulating a big ckt in bdasim & want to save state files so that i can resume transient in case of an error...
Also, Do bdasim 32 bit version gives problems with simulating big ckts ?

Hi Mayank,

BDA's Analog FastSpice saves its state automatically so that you can restart the simulation if needed. If you need more help with this, I suggest that please get in touch with your AE.

If your big circuit requires less than 2-3GB of RAM, 32 bit AFS should run just fine. If more than that, please run 64 bit AFS.
