How do i give A differential current input in ADS?
Mar 18th, 2010, 4:01pm

How do i give A differential current input in ADS2004?My guess would be to use 2 of the I_AC(freq domain sources) in ads but i'm not sure what to put in  I=Polar(x,x) and freq  parameters.

Also how can I measure current gain and current in general in the ads. Is there any other way besides I_probes?

Thanks....

Have you been able to resolve the followings.

You already implement differential current by using two "I_AC" in the above.

but i'm not sure what to put in  IIac=Polarpolar(x,x) and freqFreq  parameters.

Iac=polar(1, 0) and Iac=polar(1, 180)
or
Iac=1 and Iac=-1

Here you can choose any "units" such as "A", "mA", "uA", "pA" and "fA" as well as "unitless".

"Freq" parameter is used for FCAC(Frequency-Converting AC analysis).
Leave it default value, "freq" for conventional AC analysis like following.
Freq=freq (global analysis frequency)

Read documents of Agilent ADS surely.
The followings are documents of Agilent ADS2009. But these are also valid for ADS2004A.

We can save pin currents without inserting "I_Probe" in current ADS.
But you have to insert "I_Probe" since you use ADS2004A.
