Verilog-A to C compiler
Jun 24th, 2010, 12:54pm

Hi

I am looking for a Verilog-A to C compiler. The functionality i desire to achieve is to simulate the Verilog-A code using Spectre and generate I-V curves and do the same by converting Verilog-A into C code and then by using HSPICE generate I-V curves. Then i wanted to compare both of them. Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ravi,

HSPICE supports Verilog-A since 2005.03

Hi Patrick,

I actually want to run Verilog-a code using NGSPICE which is an open source version of SPICE. In this regard i was planning to convert Verilog-a into C and then use this C code to run in NGSPICE.

In this regard i am looking for Verilog-a to C compiler. I am new to both NGSPICE and also Verilog-a but took this project as an academic project. Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the link. The information proved very useful. I have some issues when i try to install ADMS source code. I was wondering if you can help me with it. The following is the error message which i am getting while trying to install ADMS:

I just recognized that i did not have g++ installed which is one reason why i might be getting that error. I am checking for other missing programs, which could have caused my ./configure to stop.

Thanks

The SourceForge site is a better place to get help for ADMS; there's a contact e-mail for the developer (Laurent Lemaitre).
