nPoly resistor

Is there a need to put p-substrate taps around the npoly resistor? Does it really matter? The npoly is located on top of thin oxide. In my opinion, it does not really matter. Am i correct?

hi,
if you have 3rd terminal in resister then you have to do, even with out 3rd terminal also it is very good practice is to have some fixed potential for the substrate rather than having floating and it may coupled to some substrate noise also.

If you see PD SOI tech they will connect body to some fixed potential for this reason only

Thanks,
