We have ADC's and Controller in our design, Controller Power supply have digital ground, and ADC inputs and Power Supply given with Analog Ground, In Schematics Digital ground and Analog Ground shorted with 0 Ohm resistor, we have ESD diode protection for Analog Inputs to ADC, since the same travel to External connector,

it is necessary to give ESD diode with Analog Ground? please calrify
