ELDO SST Simulations - chopper amplifiers
Feb 23rd, 2011, 3:01am

Does anyone know something about SST simulations with ELDO?
I read the manual of ELDO-RF, but i can't figure out to apply the examples and features of this kind of analysis to my case of chopper amplifiers.
If u know the basis of these kind of analysis, you may explain something. I also read the paper on simulation of SC with cadence PSS, but it's not my software so it's hard to use it with ELDO.

However, if u can give me some ideas on how to simulate a chopper amplifier even in cadence PSS, maybe i'll be able to transfer these infos on ELDO SST with a bit of work.

Hi,

Set the sst frequency to the clock frequency (say 1MHz) and add a reasonable number of harmonics, something like

.sst fund1=1Meg nharm=30

setup a transfer function analysis

.sstxf V(Vout) lin 30 1K 100K

get outputs to the .wdb file

.probe fsst V
.probe tsst V
.probe sstxf V

Hope that helps, or at least gets you going.
