Open source Verilog-AMS "simulator" for RF modeling?
Aug 07th, 2011, 5:18pm

The modeling-rf-systems paper has inspired me to look at Verilog-AMS for modeling a rather complex RF system I'm presently developing.

The paper was written in 2005 yet it's still spot on. In our case the different teams span different companies and the ability to "share" accurate modeling data is limited to spreadsheets. Things have fallen through the cracks with this approach that a quantitative model would have pointed out.

Looks like "Qucs" has got one. Link:

qucs.sourceforge.net/docs/verilog.pdf

Anybody here worked with it yet?
