AC simulation of dynamically biased  opamp: pss pac in spectre
Oct 27th, 2011, 10:43pm

Hi,

I am designing a dynamically biased amplifier shown below. In biasing phase, switch phi (bottom)is closed and switch phibar (top) is open and  amplifier is not in use. In amplifying phase, it is the opposite and it amplifies.

I want to do AC analysis to find UGB and DC gain. I want to do the simulation with the switches included. How can I do that? How in AC simulation, switches work which is transient activity?

Is it  possible to simulate with the switches included?

I have heard of something like pss and pac in Spectre. I am using spectre ( not Spectre RF). Pls provide tutorials for pss and pac in spectre. I have kens paper. Pls provide a concise tutorial.

Pls provide alternate solution if it exists.

Thanks Smiley
