Pls help with measuring current through a pin of a "sub circuit" in hspice
Nov 02nd, 2011, 2:20pm

Hello All, i have a black box/subcircuit, and the outputs are currents, can someone please tell me how to measure the currents of this subcircuit in hspice?? I do not want to use a resistor to sense the current, i am looking for an hspice command that will directly PROBE the current of the sub circuit.
regards

Larry, use the 'isub' command. You may read more about it in the hspice documentation. Basically,

isub(xi1.xi2.portname)
