Change of Temperature during Simulation

Hi all,

is it possible to change the simulation temperature during a transient simulation by verilogA?

Thx for your help.

Hi,

See the http://www.cadence.com/community/forums/T/10265.aspx Cadence forum link, if your running Spectre.

Hope this helps,
Julian.

Thanks JulianT. I found this Dynamic Parameter in the simulator. It works ... but only with integer values. I tried to use a variable for setting the temperature. The intention is to define a corner set, where the temperature of each corner is set by a variable (e.g. var_temp) which is used in the dynamic parameter setting of the simulator.

Example:
In Corner1 var_temp = 85 and in corner2 var_temp = -40
In the dynamic parameter setup the parameter "temp" is defined e.g. at t=50us to the value "var_temp".

Unfortunately this is not working. Do you have any solution? Is it a syntax thing maybe?

Thx

It seems that you want to change the temperature dynamically during one transient simulation, NOT for corners setup in your first post.
